The Cheeto is what we call the ball launching mechanism for the robot. It’s curved and will rotate to be able to launch balls at all the targets. There will be wheels attached at the end that will be able to both collect and launch balls. There’ll also be a wheel in the middle of the Cheeto to help move the balls along since they’re quite squishy and won’t move along to the end of the Cheetos just by the wheels at the end. Currently we’ve made two wooden prototypes which bend and flex more than the metal would. Lastly we called it the Cheeto because of its shape which resembles a puffy cheeto.
