Over the summer, we placed some emphasis on recruiting new team members at STEM events such as the UAA Summer Engineering Academies. For the first time ever, we now have a new member orientation program. All members that come to a meeting for the first time are now trained and shown the ropes of what it means to be on the Alaska state FRC team. They are given a tour of our lab and facilities on the UAA campus, they are given the opportunity to choose whether they begin study and collaboration in our business and/or engineering departments.
We’re excited to see all this new talent rolling in from places all across the State! This will be a fun season with a lot of new energy!
