A slightly late update, but on our first competition of the Rapid React season, we were chosen for the highest alliance and won the event at Clackamas! Huge thanks to 7034 2B Determined and 4488 Shockwave for picking us to be a part of their alliance. They were super nice to us and we’re so grateful for their support and advice. After we received our banner and medals for the win and returned to the bleachers, we were shocked to hear that we were the recipients of the Chairman’s Award! This gives us a ticket to District Championship in April and we’re so excited to be able to go.
From starting the competition with a completely disassembled robot to making it to the very top, we’re so happy that we were able to do well despite the challenges. Thank you to everyone for supporting us!
