In Anchorage, there is an event among the scientific community called the ‘Science Pubs’ where schedules are made for different researchers and developers present their work and ideas at a predetermined restaurant. We were given the opportunity to present at one of these gatherings, which we quickly agreed to do. We got up on stage with several of our claw designs for our robot and talked about FIRST and team 568, before demonstrating the claws, one of which exploded rather humorously. It was a fantastic success, and we are so thankful that we were given this opportunity.
